Reconstruction of the apron surface |
The reconstruction would include: construction of solid surface covers in zones with higher loads, higher smoothness of the covers, stoppage of the cover decay; construction of a linear water collection system; construction of a side safety zone where side lamps of the ramp will be installed; reconstruction of the lighting supports of the ramp. The area of the reconstructed covers is about 235,000 m2. |

Reconstruction of taxiways D and F |
The reconstruction will include: reconstruction of the taxiways cover (43,989 sqm), construction of a new taxiways cover (1,337 sqm), construction of a side safety zone (972 sqm) (total area of the constructed and reconstructed covers will be 46,298 sqm), construction of an unsurfaced side safety zone of the taxiways. In addition, surface wastewater networks of the taxiways, drainage of the covers, taxiway lights, etc. will be reconstructed and constructed. |

Reconstruction of the fire rescue station |
In a new fire rescue station, the following equipped premises are planned: premises for washing fire hoses, for storing fire hoses and fighting clothes, for drying fire-resistant costumes, for filling up breathing cylinders; classroom (which in case of an accident would also serve as headquarters of operations in extraordinary situations); all premises are planned on one floor (except the lookout’s) and will be situated around separate parks of fire-engines in order to ensure quick access for fire-fighters to the fire-engines. The reconstruction of a 1,652.34 sqm building is planned. |

4. |
Reconstruction of the perimeter fence |
The existing ferroconcrete structures are planned to be replaced by the sections of a net fence with acoustic elements (to protect people around from the impact of harmful noise), also to replace the existing entrance gate in order to guarantee the aviation safety. A part of the existing fence is also within the boundaries of the flight zone; therefore, it should be moved further from the runaway in order to guarantee the flight safety. In addition, it is planned to build a physical barrier to prevent animals from entering the aircraft manoeuvre field. About 11 km of the perimeter fence are planned to be reconstructed. |

Expansion of the northern apron |
When expanding the ramp, eight aircraft stands will be newly built, six of them will be intended also for bigger aircrafts (category D) because currently they are lacking. The collection and drainage of rain water will be solved through a new sewerage system, the drainage will protect the existing ramp surface covers from soaking. The construction of linear water collections systems will ensure effective collection of rain water. Aircraft ground feeding facilities, the ramp lighting supports and lights will be built. Total expansion area of the northern ramp is 69,000 sqm, other works include construction of the ramp bases, construction of the ramp ferroconcrete layer, construction of the rain collection and drainage system, construction of side lights, laying of power cables, installation of lighting, marking works, and construction of the aircraft ground feeding. |

Extension of taxiway F |
In order to direct aircraft movement flows straight to the northern part of the ramp and to shorten the taxiway and time and to improve the flight safety conditions, Vilnius Airport is going to extend taxiway F (the designed object area is 63,000 m²). It would shorten the duration of aircraft engine work during manoeuvre and influence the reduction of atmospheric air pollution and noise level in the territory of the airport. During the project, a new section of the taxiway will be built, taxiway lights and information signs will be installed, and the drainage and rain water network will be constructed. The newly constructed part of the infrastructure of Vilnius Airport – the extension of taxiway (by relocating the fire rescue station) is one of the technical conditions for improving aircraft safety on taxiways in the territory of the airport. |

7. |
Construction of a new taxiway |
The construction of a new taxiway would shorten the duration of engine work during manoeuvre and influence the reduction of atmospheric air pollution and noise level in the territory of Vilnius Airport. Also it will reduce the costs of passengers’ time and aircraft fuel. The designed object area is about 11,200 m². The object construction works include construction of the taxiway bases, construction of the taxiway ferroconcrete layer, construction of rainwater collection and drainage system, installation of the STOP line lights on a new surface cover, installation of side lights and building of power cables. The new taxiway will allow shortening the duration of aircraft rolling on taxiway. |

4-level departing passengers’ registered baggage check system implementation at International Vilnius Airport |
Vilnius Airport seeks to implement and run 2 (two) x-ray devices with an explosive detection system (EDS) by integrating them into 2 (two) independent 4 (four)-level departing passengers’ registered baggage check systems relating them with the implementation of the baggage transportation systems (BHS) and the reconstruction of the existing ones and in order to do this, to carry out the reconstruction of the passenger terminal, unique no. 1097-0044-5205, indexed 20 T3/p in the plan, located at Rodūnios kelias 2 in Vilnius. |

Passenger terminal galleries reconstruction project |
Vilnius Airport seeks to optimize passenger flows, to implement the concept of a single check, to ensure that unchecked passengers would not gain access to the restricted access zone, to shorten the duration of transfer of the passengers of connective flights from 40 to 20 minutes and to direct the flows of passengers arriving from the European Union airports and from other airports, where the aviation safety standards are equalled to the European Union standards, to the sterile zone, and for this purpose, carries out the reconstruction of the passenger terminal, unique no. 1097-0044-5205, indexed 20 T3/p in the plan, located at Rodūnios kelias 2 in Vilnius, and purchases the aviation safety facilities – 4 (four) one-way passage blocks grouped by 2 (two) gates (doors). |

Surface wastewater handling project |
By implementing the project, Vilnius Airport seeks to reduce the pollution of surface waters down to allowable standards, to renovate the surface wastewater networks of the southern part of the airport by connecting them into common municipal wastewater network. The surface wastewater treatment facilities will be intended for removing surface wastewater pollutants from the entire waterproof surface cover in the existing territory (southern part) of the airport. The surface wastewater treatment facilities planned in the south-eastern part of the airport will be connected into the existing surface wastewater collection system and into a newly designed surface and semi-clean industrial wastewater collection system. The surface wastewater treatment facilities will clean industrial wastewater of the airport in winter time. In summer, in the absence of the source of pollution, the wastewater collection system will work as it used to until now – as surface wastewater collection and drainage network. In summer, only the removal of oil products from the ramp surface wastewater is planned. |

Preparation of Master plan |
The aim of the project is to prepare a Master plan of Vilnius Airport by assessing the variety of possible scenarios of further development and environment of the airport in the perspective of one or another scenario. The identification of actions and determination of their sequence preconditions the consistency of implementation of the most optimal scenario for the development of the airport. |
