International cooperation

As of 1992, Vilnius International Airport is a member of the Airports Council International (ACI Europe) and takes active participation in the international activity of the European airports.

The specialists of Vilnius Airport work in the ACI Europe Committees of Policy, Environmental Strategy, Aviation Security, Economics and Technical and Operational Safety on a permanent basis. The staff of the airport’s aviation security, airfield, fuel and power supply services is trained at the regional training centre of the ICAO.

The specialists of different fields working at the major airports of the Baltics (Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius) meet annually to discuss the relevant issues and learn about innovations in the field.

Vilnius Airport maintains close cooperation with EU airlines, especially those which have their representative offices based in Vilnius: Lufthansa, LOT Polish Airlines, CSA - Czech Airlines, Finnair, Austrian Airlines, and airBaltic.
