Charges for the use of the technical roads for general purposes

This is to inform that the charge for the use of technical roads for general purposes of the State Enterprise Vilnius International Airport (hereinafter referred to as VIA) located in the VIA airside was introduced from 1 February 2010 (hereinafter referred to as the charge).

The charge shall be collected from the entities, which operate their activities in the VIA airside or through it (hereinafter referred to as the charge-payers). The basic charge for the use of the VIA technical roads for general purposes located in the airside (hereinafter referred to as the basic charge) shall constitute LTL 386.75, value-added tax excluded, for one vehicle per year. Tariff rate has been agreed upon with the Ministry of Transport and Communications on 2 November 2011.

The charge shall be paid for all vehicles operated in the VIA airside. The number of taxable vehicles shall be determined on the grounds of the applications of charge-payers for the issue of permanent vehicle passes to access the VIA airside. The price for a specific vehicle shall be calculated by multiplying the basic charge by the rate applicable to a particular vehicle (vehicle rates are enclosed). Where a vehicle pass for the access of the VIA airside is issued on the date other than the beginning of the year, the charge shall be calculated in proportion to the remaining number of days in a year (given that the year consists of 365 days).

The tax shall not be collected for the transport of state or municipal authorities, diplomatic representations of foreign countries, consular offices and international organisations, which is used to perform the functions of the mentioned institutions in the VIA airside.

The charge shall be paid within 5 business days of the day of receipt of the VAT invoice or until the date specified in the agreement with VIA. The payment shall be executed by a bank transfer using the following bank particulars.

Tariff rate has been agreed upon with the Ministry of Transport and Communications on 2 November 2011.
